Along the Brown’s starboard side is the Victory Ship Twin Falls which was originally planned to succeed the JWB as the schoolship John W. Brown II in the maritime school program. Unfortunately, due to the presence of asbestos in the ship, the Twin Falls was scrapped in 1983.
